’twas the night before Christmas.

and all through the house, not a creature was stirring – not even a … well actually, there has been one creature doing quite a bit of “stirring” in our house.

But I guess I can’t blame her after all the baking we did this weekend. My husband and I decided a “baking day” is going to be our newest tradition every holiday season and started with these:

The Rice Krispie Treats and Oreo Pops were both Pinterest ideas (you can find them here and here), and the sugar cookies were good ole Betty Crocker. :)

After the baking was complete, we wrapped all the goods in these darling Martha Stewart boxes (from Michael’s!) and passed them out to the neighborhood.

And, of course, we left a couple out for the “big guy” himself.

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! I hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday.
