My husband travels a lot. And while he’s gone, I sort of spend a lot of time on the internet. Shopping. He also reads this blog (hi honey!). Most of the time I don’t buy things, but the thing is, the more time you spend looking, the more likely purchasing becomes part of that vicious cycle.
Enter an Anthro sale.
You see, a couple of my favorite Anthro bloggers mentioned that on Monday morning the additional 30% off sale items promotion was still working on all of the NEW fresh cuts (and the second and third cuts, too!). And then the prices became too good to be true. And then I started thinking about all of the new things I could try for such a bargain – like this adorable Jacquard Sweater Skirt. It was $88. I got it for $20. Whhaaaat?
And then I saw these wedges. They are so not my style. I literally have never, ever, thought to buy something like this. Maybe I’d like them on other people, but on myself? No way. Plus they’re $188 – oh no they’re $49.95, but omg with an extra 30% they’re $35.
Wait, is that right? 81% off!?
Ok, I bought them. Now I’m having anxiety about what the heck I’m going to wear them with. I have a vision and it involves chambray denim, plaid and dark skinnies. Something like this:
