red carpet roundup [grammys].

i had big plans for today. brunch with a girlfriend, errands,  blog pics – but instead i woke up with an awful *ehem* cough. like the dry, nagging kind that makes you wish you could just stop speaking altogether to avoid the tickle in your throat every time you open your mouth. ugh. luckily it was gloriously gloomy this afternoon and a perfect opportunity to curl up with a London Fog from Starbucks and admire some gorgeous women who are obvi not hacking up a lung. ready for the most timely red carpet recap in See Mo Go. history? ready, set, go:

my favorite looks on the red carpet this year had a few things in common: tulle, sparkles and slinky silhouettes. and the ladies above were killin’ it this year. even though Katy Perry looks kinda like a hot mess in the pic above, this dress looked amazing on TV – this Valentino had just enough Katy Perry “quirk,” while also looking elegant to the max, which i adore. i was also drooling over Taylor Swift and Colbie Caillat – sexy, glam and super modern. my surprise of the evening was definitely Kacey Musgraves. i actually had to google who she was (omg am i out of touch!?), but she looked incredible floating down the carpet in Armani Privé. i think it’s safe to say flesh-toned tulle is a grammy trend this year and deserving of my top spot.

so who was your best dressed?

xo,
Mo

  1. Great recap! I really liked the Kacey Musgraves performance … but didn’t know who she was either. Are we old now?!
